Monotype Workshop

A monotype is a unique, one-of-a-kind print made by applying ink or paint to a smooth, non-absorbent surface (such as glass, metal, or plexiglass) and transferring the image onto paper. Because the image is pressed directly from the plate, it yields exactly one unrepeatable original piece (or until the ink no longer imprints on the paper).
